AIDS Fonds
The Aids Fonds is an organization based in the Netherlands whose mission is to work towards a world without AIDS. The AIDS Fonds is active on both a national and international level.
The AIDS Fonds is the principle recipient of the grant of the LAASER program, and has tasked TREAT Asia, PharmAccess and the International Civil Society Support Group unite at the Aids Fonds with the implementation of the program. Within the LAASER program, the Aids Fonds has the following tasks (2007):
- Administrative and financial management of the program
- Reporting to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs
- Monitoring and evaluation of the program
- Coordinating and supporting the Steering Committe
- Coordinating and supporting the Scientific Advisory Committee
- Facilitating communication between all partners
- Representing the program in external contacts and meetings
- Supporting fundraising
