Objectives
- To build capacity on the monitoring and surveillance of HIV drug resistance to improve the quality of HIV treatment in African and Asian countries
- To obtain knowledge on new resistance patterns in order to support policy makers and undertake public health action, including high quality antiretroviral treatment programs (ART), and to create an international observational database.
