TREAT Asia and PharmAccess Network meetings
The 9th TREAT Asia Annual Network Meeting was held from 9–13 October 2009 in Bangkok, Thailand. More than 160 participants from 21 countries around the globe participated in the meeting, representing clinical sites, community support and advocacy groups, academic centers, donors, laboratories, and other partners. From 11-13 November 2009, the PharmAccess HIV Drug Resistance Network and ART-A Workshop took place in Lusaka, Zambia. Around 60 people were invited to attend this event with, for example, an interesting debate with policy makers from five different countries on the first day and a variety of training sessions for the medical and laboratory staff of the PASER and ART-A network on the remaining two days.
